"Evidence of Jesus' Spirit"

Hi,

It's Meeka.

If you've been carefully following my emails and reading the scriptures for yourself, It's quite clear that there is a command to examine and prove the truth of your Christian claim. Not only is this command given to test yourself, but also to test others who claim to be of the faith and have the spirit of Christ. Scripture states to "test all spirits", and as we've seen, for the purpose of uncovering deceivers, those who do not have the spirit of Christ.

1 John 4:1, KJV

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try (test) the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets (those who claim to speak for Christ; pretenders) are gone out into the world"

Did you know that when the saints called the Apostle Paul to the Test, to prove that he was truly of the faith and that he possessed the spirit of Christ, his response wasn't, "Don't judge Me!" (2 Corinthians 13:3, 6, KJV).

On the contrary, his response confirmed the proof. He provided tangible evidence that Christ's spirit dwelled within him.

The Apostle Paul stated, "I trust that you know I am not a reprobate for I have wrought the true signs/marks of evidence visible in an apostle through patience, signs, wonders/miracles, and mighty deeds" (2 Corinthians 12:12, KJV). The Apostle Paul passed the Test by providing verifiable evidence, according to the words of Jesus; visible proof of Christ's Spirit living within him.

In this particular passage, the original Greek word used for "sign" is σημεῖον sēmeîon, G4592 Strong's, meaning, "a (supernatural) sign, mark, or token; That by which a person or a thing is distinguished from others and is known".

The Burden of Proof rested with Paul because he made the claim to be an Apostle or representative of Christ, claiming that the spirit of Christ dwelled within him. Paul made the claim, and to the scriptural satisfaction of the saints, Paul proved that Christ's spirit dwelled within him through visual proof and evidence. The Apostle admonished, "make full proof of thy ministry/service" as a servant or minister of Christ (2 Timothy 4:5, KJV).

The TEST

I want to take a moment to look a little closer at the word "test". It is an old French word, late 14c. which came about through the assaying of gold, silver, or precious metals; ascertaining the quality of a metal by melting it in a pot/earthen vessel. The vessel itself was called a test, from the Latin word testum, meaning "earthen vessel".

The verb form to "Test" means to "examine the correctness of" from the noun "test" on the notion of "put to the proof".

Test: A procedure for critical evaluation; A means of determining the Presence, Quality, or Truth of something (American Heritage Dictionary 5th ed. 2016).

The original Greek word used for "Test" is δοκιμάζω dokimázō, G1381 Strong's, meaning,

  1. to test, examine, prove, scrutinize (to see whether a thing is genuine or not), as metals

  2. to recognize as genuine after examination, to approve, deem worthy

Some English words used as substitutes for the Greek word dokimázō, is "Try", "Prove", or "Approved". It is the same word used in the previously noted scripture admonishing to "try the spirits"; It is also the same word used in 2 Corinthians 13 when the Apostle Paul commands that professing Christians "Prove" that Christ's spirit dwells within them.

The English word "examine" in this passage of scripture, is from the original Greek word, πειράζω peirázō, G3985 Strong's, meaning, "To Test".

The Spiritual Opportunity

I am excited to tell you that there is indeed the construction of a Biblically based Test as described by the Apostle Paul. This Biblically based Test is structured as a 6-Part course that presents scriptural proofs and confirmations regarding the professing Christian, and the authenticity of the Spirit of Christ living within them, according to the direct words of Jesus written in the original Greek texts of the New Testament.

The course is named "The TEST", as it challenges all professing Christians to be obedient to the Apostles' clear command, under the inspiration and direction of the Holy Ghost, to "Test yourselves and find out if you are truly a Christian; prove your own selves to confirm the spirit of Christ dwelling within you, If you pass the test, you will discover that Christ is living in you".

"The TEST" does exactly this through the observance of the facts, hard truths of the scriptures, without manipulation of the texts nor assumptions. "The TEST" offers an objective approach; the representation of the facts are clear of the influence of personal feelings, biases, or opinions. This is a crucial element in presenting scripture in its purity.

This in-depth study reveals the Five Pillars within the New Testament scriptures that identify those who truly possess the spirit of Christ or if they possess the spirit of another. Jesus warned that there will be those who will be under the delusion of having his spirit as demonstrated in Matthew 7:22-23, in which Jesus proclaims he never knew them and rejects them, despite their professions to him as Lord. The TEST unmistakably identifies by what spirit they are truly possessed, influenced, and governed by.

Jesus stated that there would be clear obvious proof demonstrated and confirmed in those possessed by his Spirit. This study discloses the direct Biblical guidelines on how to be Born Again and receive the Spirit of Christ with the biblical evidence to prove it!

Questions

  • How do you "Examine", "Test", "Prove" yourself?

  • How do you prove, through the tenets of scripture, that your claim as a Christian are true?

  • How do you examine yourself to see if you are truly a Christian according to the dictates of scripture?

  • How do you prove and find the evidence that Christ's spirit truly dwells within you outside of your emotions or a strong hope or personal belief?

  • How do you recognize if you are under a delusion, such as the one Jesus spoke of in the book of 1 John, concerning those who are under the false impression that they have the spirit of Christ dwelling within them?

  • How do you recognize if it is truly Christ's spirit operating within you or the spirit of another?

  • How do you confirm, without doubt, based on solid biblical evidence, if you will be accepted by Christ on Judgment day?

These specific questions are answered, in detail, within the course along with additional information to recognize and confirm the words and indwelling spirit of Christ.

In the next email, we will take a closer look at what the TEST covers and how you can take advantage of this opportunity to fulfill this crucial command given in scripture by the Apostle Paul under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. Let's meet again, same time tomorrow! Take care!
