Which Church Denomination has the True Spirit of God?

John 16:13, KJV

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come"

Personal preferences and emotional convictions do not validate nor establish the Christian sect that possesses the true spirit and teachings of Jesus.

There are currently over 3,000 different Christian sects globally. Each sect having a different opposing view than their counterparts. Each Christian sect is adamant that they possess the true enlightening Holy spirit of Jesus informing them and guiding them along the genuine path of salvation.

John 14:26, KJV

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you"

Due to the differences in their personal interpretations of the message of Jesus, they've created religious labels to differentiate themselves from those within the very same faith who share opposing or differing opinions regarding the one true message of Jesus.

Each sect being driven by its own personal beliefs, experiences, and biases in validating their chosen Christian sect to be the one and only true denomination that is governed and dictated by the spirit of Jesus. As previously mentioned, personal preferences do not establish facts. Which is exactly why we're going to take this matter directly to the historical documentation of the New Testament scriptures.

Determining Those Who are of God

How does the New Testament authors (inspired by the Holy Ghost) determine those who are actually of God?

1 John 4:2, KJV

"Hereby know ye the spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God"

1 John 4:15, KJV "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God"

These New Testament scriptures are quite clear concerning this truth: Every individual (Whosoever) that confesseth (to acknowledge belief or faith in), that Jesus (1.) Came in the flesh, (2.) Is the son of God, is not only of God, but the scriptures undeniably state that the spirit of God dwells within that individual!

There are no scriptural restrictions within this passage in relation to religious "Christian labels" such as Protestant, Baptist, Mormon, Catholic, etc. WHOSOEVER confesses these scriptural proclamations concerning Jesus, that one is considered to be inhabited by the very spirit of God!!

These New Testament passages alone eliminate any "works of righteousness" or the lack thereof to enter into God's kingdom. According to these scriptural references, one's belief and confession in Jesus as the son of God come in the flesh, is sufficient grounds for a meaningful connection with not only Jesus but the GOD of Israel.

This New Testament truth coincides within the context of the apostle Paul's writings:

Romans 10:10, KJV

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"

The original Greek word used for "confess" is ὁμολογέω (G3670 Strong's Concordance), meaning, "to assent" (to agree with or acceptance of).

A True Brother in Christ

Consider, do the opposing Christian sects, outside of your own, assent openly and verbally, agree with and accept the order given by the Christian forefathers that Jesus came in the flesh and is the son of God?

Despite the vast array of doctrinal differences the writers of these New Testament scriptures are plainly noting that within these differences, one Mark must be evident, and indeed the identifier of those who are not only of God, but also actually have the spirit of God dwelling within them. The Mark of the confession!

They MUST confess (assent to; agree and accept), that Jesus came in the flesh and is the biological son of the GOD of Israel.

It is by this confession, that the writer of the book of 1 John, deems a solid determining factor in matters of one's salvation and relationship with Jesus and the GOD of Israel. If you have a grievance with the conveyance of this simple, yet undeniably clear scriptural determination of who is of God and has His indwelling spirit, your grievance is not with the varying 2,999 alternative Christian doctrines, teachings, and practices, but with the evident commands and dictates of the very Christian forefathers who claim to have the indwelling spirit of Jesus instructing them concerning the Christian order of the Church brethren.

Too many have professed Christianity on the premise of molding the doctrine to suit their mental approval and lifestyle. However, Christianity has already been established and solidified within the pages of the New Testament book according to the documented historical accounts of Jesus' teachings and those of his disciples. If one cannot accept, adapt to, and conform to all of its written teachings and doctrines, as per the defining of a Biblical Christian, it is clear that a re-evaluation must take place in direct reference to one's Christian profession.

Christianity is not defined by what you determine is personally acceptable, but it is a compliance to what Jesus has already determined, accepted, and established within the written scriptures...including the acceptance of those within the Christian faith who carry a religious label or doctrine oppositional to your own.
