Did GOD Become A Man?
Most Christians believe that God became the man, Jesus; and yet simultaneously being His own son"
Confusing? Of course! However, we will Biblically address both scenarios and bring stark clarity to the confusion.
The Son Of God
In the Original Testament, when directly referencing the GOD of Israel, HE declared unequivocally,
Malachi 3:6, KJV
"I am the GOD of Israel, I Change Not"
The original Hebrew text reads, " יְהוָה לֹא שָׁנִיתִי " meaning, HE will NOT Duplicate or Transmute.
Duplicate:
Identically copied from an original
To make twofold; double
Something additional or supplementary of the same kind
To make a replica of; to do or make again
To reproduce
In knowing this, we know that the GOD of Israel will Not and does Not exist as anything other than a singular non-pluralistic Being. In Direct accordance to the Original Testament scriptures, HE has not, nor will HE ever reproduce or make a copied version of Himself. HE is not a "twofold" nor "threefold" BEING.
HE will NOT duplicate Himself!
Isaiah 40:25, KJV
"To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One"
Isaiah 46:5, KJV
"To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like?"
Isaiah 40:18, KJV
"To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?
"If You Have Seen Me, You Have Seen The Father"
When speaking directly of Transmutation,
Transmute:
To change from one form, nature, substance, or state into another; to transform.
We know directly from the scriptures that Jesus was in fact, a man. This is a spoken confirmation not only among the Christian community, but also confirmed within the scriptures.
1 Timothy 2:5, KJV
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"
What is less acknowledged due to lack of knowledge, is the alarming fact: The GOD of Israel is NOT a man!
HE has unequivocally declared that HE is not a man; NO part or essence of HIM is a man.
Numbers 23:19, KJV
"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"
This now becomes a blinding Truth!!
The GOD of Israel is undeniably declaring that HE will NOT "Change from one form, nature, substance, or state into another; HE does NOT transform". Establishing that HE will NOT change from one form, nature, substance, or state into another.
HE is a Spirit ....and NOT a man.
John 4:24, KJV
"GOD is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth"
HE will NOT Transmute; Transform from Spirit to flesh and blood. This is a Biblical unchangeable FACT!
Jesus underwent a series of transformations. In the New Testament scriptures we read about his transformational experiences as a man. For example, Jesus went from a fetus to an infant, and experienced the phases in which the physical human body encounters as the human cells go through apoptosis and cellular regeneration as a natural part of growth and development necessary to mature the boy Jesus into a fully functioning man.
Interestingly, the New Testament scriptures also disclose that Jesus experienced transmutation, a characteristic that the Original Testament has confirmed is not an element that is present in the GOD of Israel.
Matthew 17:1-2, KJV
"And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, and was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light"
The original Greek word for "transfigured" is, μεταμορφόω G3339 Strong's Concordance, meaning, to change into another form, to transform, to transfigure.
The GOD That Jesus Worshiped
We CLEARLY have a BEING who is unquestionably stating that HE will not duplicate Himself nor will HE alter or change, in any way, HIS form, nature, state, or essence! HE does NOT consist of Flesh and blood! HE has NO blood! Blood is the life of the Human (Leviticus 17:11, KJV). HE is not Human. This is the GOD that Jesus worshiped. According to the Original Testament, this GOD, the GOD of Israel, Did Not Become a man nor did HE have a son.
The ETERNAL ONE has declared, "There is no God beside ME. I have No equal"
Deuteronomy 4:35
"Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the ETERNAL ONE, HE is God; there is none else beside HIM"
Isaiah 45:5, KJV
"I am the ETERNAL ONE, and there is none else, there is no God beside Me..."
